Sadly, Falls Church location closed (thanks landlord) and my 5 star review of all things amazing Dogfish is in Yelp's deleted restaurant pile. But yes, will travel to Fairfax to enjoy all things Dogfish-ian. Sad crab cake is gone. Best crab cake ever. Don't let anyone in Baltimore fool u. Right here in VA Dogfish made the best crab cake ever. As a sandwich especially on the brioche bun. With the fries. The hat and crispy skin on fries. Miss u crab cake. Hope u come back some day. And the bread pudding too. Miss u sorely. Everything is great. These were just favorites. Still love the steak bomb and the Mac. Pretzel is always $$$. Would love to see a reappearance of Philly cheesesteak rolls on the specials menu (or regular menu).

A group of 5 of us came for dinner. We started with the calamari and the crab dip. Both recommendations based on recommendations by our waiter Justin. The calamari came out cold. We flagged Justin and he made a fresh batch. Everyone liked the crab dip- I thought it could use more crab but then again, I am from Jersey where the crab is plentiful. For my main I got the salmon bowl versus the grilled salmon main. The salmon in the salmon bowl was perfectly cooked. All the other ingredients were tasty and fresh. A little too much sauce but overall really good. I would get it again. The mashed potatoes in the salmon main entree looked good. A solid 3.5 but rounding up to 4 stars.

Very quiet on Easter Sunday although it picked up as we were leaving around 5:30. The service was prompt and friendly. The beers on tap are great, absolutely love their selection and the 60 minute IPA. The Hazy O was good as well. We didn't try any of the entrees but the pretzel was amazing! Beer cheese could have been a bit warmer but their mustard is delicious. We would return specifically for this if not the entrees. Looking forward to going back.

Service service service, and last but not least the food quality! Had this time the Chimichurri surf and turf, the steak was cooked to perfection, and the shrimp (4) were very good, it came with fried plantains, black beans and Spanish rice. The Chimichurri sauce was fresh and delicious! I highly recommend this dish and This restaurant, you can go wrong!
